Worcester’s Best Chef Results

by Cynthia Woehrle - September 28, 2008 11:26pm

Best Chef Again!

My co-workers at the Worcester’s Best Chef competition report that there was a never-ending line for food today. BaBa Sushi, of 309 Park Avenue in Worcester, served Salmon Avocado, KING, and Shrimp Tempura Maki Rolls to the crowds. This selection placed them First in the People’s Choice Best Chef category.

Here’s the run down of the winners:

People’s Choice:

1st Place – BaBa Sushi, Worcester, MA
2nd Place – Cedar St, Sturbridge, MA
3rd Place – Rovezzi’s, Sturbridge, MA

Chef’s Choice:

1st Place – Yama Zakura, Northboro, MA
2nd Place – Via Alto, Clinton, MA
3rd Place – Cedar St, Sturbridge, MA

I work at BaBa because I love the food, and I think it’s pretty cool that Japanese Cuisine placed first in both categories.

Congrats to all the winners!

How does the competition work? Is it a one-day thing or like a voting process?
