The prospect of abolishing the state income tax in Massachusetts is, coincidentally, happening at a time when the rest of the economy is making wealth evaporate like steam on a cold, dry day. For proponents of the question 1 ballot initiative in Massachusetts, this timing couldn’t be better.
And the ballot initiative is getting plenty of coverage outside of Massachusetts, too.
