  5. I honestly go here now. I go here and Worcesterite and I try to pick up WoMag every week. I also try to read the city council live blog over at Daily Worcesteria every week. I need to be more diligent though at finding out about the candidates and issues surrounding the local elections. Info is very very hard to come by when it comes to that. I will put the tinfoil on for a second and say this is probably by design.

This site is doing a good job though at linking to most things of importance in the city and if not a cultural road map of the city it is certainly a passable as an informational starting point.

You still need to actually get out and meet people and talk to people to even scratch the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this city. Other cities you can figure out how to get to that iceberg from the local media outlets. We still have a ways to go.

Although I read all the print/web sources on the list, if I had to narrow things down to one source it would be Wormtown Taxi. Jeff does a great job of highlighting the 1 or 2 interesting stories that appear each day in either the ones listed above or the blogs/sources I wouldn’t even think of checking. The pros need to raise the level of their game!

Just saw the first print edition of the New Paris Post-Intelligencer. Have to add this to my list–inch for inch, the best paper in town.
