Disappointing coverage of walk for diabetes

On Sept. 27, my 10-year-old daughter, Hanna, my husband, Bill, and I arrived at Elm Park to participate in the “Step-Out Walk for Diabetes.” It was overcast and the forecast called for rain. The walk was to be one, three or five miles, but due to the weather conditions, they canceled the five-mile walk. We decided to do the three-mile walk. We were greeted by very friendly volunteers to help us with all the registering and getting started.
