We here at Real Worcester are looking at ways to stretch our entertainment dollar in these increasingly troubling economic times, and we are sure that you are too. Therefore we present to you a true Worcester hidden gem, free movies at Holy Cross!
With a night out at the movies costing a couple $25.00 for tickets alone dinner and a movie can get a bit pricey. The chance to watch a quality movie in a theater environment without having to dip into your wallet at all is something that Real Worcester can really stand behind.
The Seelos Theater Film Series kicked off in mid September in the newly refurbished 360 seat Seelos Theater in Kimball Hall on the campus of The College of the Holy Cross. The theater features all new seating; a new projection booth and Dolby Digital surround sound. Films are free and open to the public on a first come first served basis.
This weekend features Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull on the big screen both Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm.
The upcoming film schedule includes both big name blockbuster films such as:
The Dark Knight
Wall-E
Kung Fu Panda &
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
As well as smaller indie films like:
Standard Operating Procedure
The Visitor
Mongol &
Reprise
This film series continues through December 13th. Check the full schedule here: Seelos Theater Full Schedule
