Worcestershire Journal – Joseph’s Project
by Karl - October 20, 2008 6:14am
During the summer, the family arrived in Worcester from Africa with a promise of a job. The job fell through. They were here without money, without transportation, without food. Through a serendipitous chain, the folks at Joseph’s Project heard about the family’s plight and began weekly deliveries of food. The deliveries continued for weeks until, one day, the family reported that the father had found work and that they were able to take care of themselves.
Joseph’s Project is a non-profit organization that delivers food to families in need. The project collects donations of food and uses cash donations to purchases additional supplies. The members of the project then bring the food to the families’ homes. It’s pretty much that simple.
This coming Friday, October 24th, from 6-11PM, Joseph’s Project is having a Halloween fund-raiser at the Harold N. Keith American Legion Post 204 in West Boylston. Suggested donations are $25 per person. Check out the Halloween Bash Invitation for more information about the party and Joseph’s Project.

Who are the people behind real worcester?
ID yourselves please.
Real Worcester – real people from in and around Worcester. Check out our bios.
Why don’t you put a list of real contributors with names and bios?
That sounds easy, but the list of contributors is ever-changing. Some contributors are just here for one or two posts, others are posting weekly, sometimes more. If you are interested in who is writing the posts you are reading, again I point you to the byline/bio section.
Who is Nicholas Reville?
I am Nicholas Reville! Not sure what the question is.
Who is Nat??
That is the burning question in my mind!
You’re mind is burning? Well douse it.
Nick, why don’t you identify who is behind this website, ownership, your mission etc… like you did with Milo [sic].
I own the website, it’s a collaborative group project, and we’re hoping to share blog and news coverage about worcester. We’re really just seeing where it goes.
What’s your mission?
My mission? Ask questions of people who run websites.
What’s your motivation for doing this project?
Why do you not openly tell the public who you are and what you intend on doing?
Why so are you so coy about all this NR?
