There are plenty of seasonal events going on in the city today. The Great Pumpkin Fest is taking place at the EcoTarium today from noon until 9 p.m. The event includes displays of hundreds of carved and lit pumpkins as well as hayrides, train rides, face painting, story time, games, costume parades, a digital planetarium show, and much more. The event is $ 10 for EcoTarium members and $ 14 for non-members.
Old Sturbridge Village will be hosting Things that Go Bump in the Night tonight from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event includes storytelling, hundreds of illuminated pumpkins, and trick-or-treating inside the haunted village. Be sure to pick up your tickets before 4 p.m. The cost is $ 12 per person with children under 3 admitted free.
If you’re thinking ahead and are looking to get some holiday shopping in you may want to head over to the Sprinkler Factory this weekend for their craft fair. The fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow. It includes gifts from the areas finest artists and crafters. The Sprinkler Factory is located at 38 Harlow Street in Worcester, and the fair takes place in the second floor Gallery. Be sure to check out the Golden Remains exhibit while you’re there.
