New Day, New United States of America

A New President Elect, faces many challenges. We need to make this work, this time, however in favor of the people, the majority.
In a contest nicely played by all candidates. To the extent of the biased system that seems to prioritize only a two parties, at least the American voters have sent a message to the world that this nation “appears” to be a land of opportunity. Perhaps the appearance will bode well in terms of foreign relations. It is far from perfect, and far from total reality, but it is a starting point. We can now work in hope that we can make it happen, a reality. Open dialog and community participation must prevail or any hope for real change will be lost. Every road that encourages inclusiveness must be open and toll free. Now it is time for the new President elect and the members of the house and senate to act as though they actually are listening and care about the needs of the people. That they work to put the people and communities first. Hopefully the sentiment will trickle down, or up, depending on how you look at it, to municipal government as well.
We in concert with the president must institute a new charge, a concerted effort, to minimize government on ALL levels, to wipe out any perception of oligarchical relationships, take substantially tangible steps toward clean green energy and energy independence, and to prioritize and value sincerity, humility, selflessness, inclusiveness, courage and honesty. We need to ensure all people have unobstructed access to health care, housing, food, information, and a way to contribute and participate in building our own local economies. The United States can show the world it is truly united, and that it can be a worthy new model to follow. This may be the last chance we get to make a difference without a radical upheaval. The above charge is not simply up to a man elected as a President or a political party, it is up to us, we the people. May God have mercy and be with us +
