Students must be prepared for college

The 21st Century Skills Task Force recently made its report to the Massachusetts Board of Education. The comprehensive report takes aim at expanding K-12 educational standards and their assessment (MCAS) to include problem-solving skills that are required in college and the workplace. It’s time for Massachusetts to make the attainment of these skills explicit so that our students can be better prepared for success in college and the workplace.
