Worcester’s Vegan Meetup Tomorrow at Udupi

Don’t forget March’s vegan meetup is tomorrow at 1pm. It’s at the vegetarian Indian restaurant Udupi, located on 378 Maple Ave, Shrewsbury, MA (map).
This one’s going to be neat because it’s a double-whammy. Worcester’s monthly meetup group and the Metro West Vegan Network are combining events.
Hope to see you there!

An Israeli soldier fired a tear gas canister into a shuttered home, killing a Palestinian infant. When he [...]

White people will be minority in afterlife

In his inaugural address, President Barack Obama acknowledged that we are a nation of “Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and nonbelievers.” Many Christians were offended by his inclusion of atheists, and some were upset at the mention of Muslims.

Freedom as export

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s tour of Asia this past week, ending with a visit to China, was largely about reasserting the importance of economic ties with the region and getting to know its leaders, but the Obama administration’s preoccupation with economic issues must not be permitted to eclipse concerns over human rights in China.
