BOSTON – Their party nominations securely in hand, Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown returned to the campaign trail today, with Brown challenging his rival to take a no-new-taxes pledge and Coakley vowing to take nothing for granted in the race to succeed the late Democratic icon Edward Kennedy.
