In a stew over kitchen conundrums

If I could offer only one piece of advice to any young man about to become a house-husband, it would be this: Don’t ever, ever criticize your wife’s cooking. Because at some point, no matter how subtle the criticism, she is going to invite you to take over the kitchen duties yourself, and unless your name is Emeril, your meals are about to deteriorate along with your marriage.
